Patricia ‘Trish’ Harris serves as the Senior Director for Education, Operations, and Initiatives and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) leadership team.

In this role, Trish assists in designing, implementing, and coordinating innovative diversity and inclusion programming and leadership throughout the university. She also manages all student access, success and engagement, and other special initiatives and projects as assigned.

Additionally, Trish assists in monitoring the emerging and ever-iterative diversity landscape on campus, statewide, and nationally to better coordinate existing and evolving committee advisory councils, task forces, and centers work. She serves as a delegate for the VP/CDO at meetings, university committees, and briefings as needed.

She incorporates equity, respect, and inclusion into basic department work processes (e.g., reward, promotion, employee-student development) and offers and implements institution-wide changes to ensure equity, inclusion, and respect for all faculty, staff, and students.
