The inaugural Race, Racism and Racial Equity (R3) Symposium will bring together scholars from across campus to share their work with Carolina and the broader community and provide networking opportunities for students, faculty, staff and community members. The event will feature a keynote to provide context on the state of race at UNC and in the U.S., advancing the work of the Chancellor’s Commission on History, Race and a Way Forward. There will also be a series of panel discussions with our scholars and lightning presentations featuring graduate students and their research.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, this event will be rescheduled to the 2020/2021 school year. Please check here for updated info.
