How do I register for Project Uplift or Uplift PLUS?
If you are invited to attend, you will receive an email at the end of April with a link to register. Be sure to check your junk mailbox. If you feel you did not receive an email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
When is the deadline to register?
The deadline to register for Project Uplift and Uplift PLUS will be in May 2022.
Is there a cost to participate in Project Uplift?
The cost for Project Uplift 2022 is $25.
I missed the deadline to pay my Project Uplift registration fee online. Can I still pay?
If you are attending an in-person session, you may bring your $25.00 payment on the day of your selected session. Your payment must be via Cashier’s Check from your bank or Money Order. No cash, personal checks, nor electronic payments will be accepted the day of. Please make your Cashier’s Check or Money Order payable to “UNC Chapel Hill University Office for Diversity and Inclusion”. Be sure to put “Project Uplift” in the memo line. Please have this filled out before submitting it to us.
What is the schedule for Project Uplift?
A sample schedule (subject to change) for both the in-person and virtual sessions can be found on the Preparing for Project Uplift 2022 page.
What is the Project Uplift Community?
The Project Uplift community is a social network site that we will utilize so that participants and counselors can connect with each other and learn more about UNC. You will receive an invitation to join the site within a week of your session.
Is there a cost to participate in Uplift PLUS?
Yes. The Uplift PLUS cost is $1,800. This will cover tuition for the English course. Participants must pay a $150 deposit to register.
What if I can’t afford the Uplift PLUS cost?
Scholarship applications are available upon request. Request a scholarship application by emailing email@example.com by May 25th.
What is the Uplift PLUS schedule?

What are the benefits of attending Project Uplift and Uplift PLUS?
Project Uplift allows you to experience Carolina for yourself and gain essential information. Project Uplift will challenge and encourage you to become a leader. You will leave wanting to know more about yourself and others and how to make the college experience work for you.
Will Project Uplift or Uplift PLUS guarantee my admission to UNC?
No. However, Project Uplift is one of many ways to learn the “ins & outs” of UNC and to help you throughout the application process. Uplift PLUS will give you college credit and more details about the application process.
