The University Office of Diversity and Inclusion (UODI) sponsors programming for local middle school students that provides them insight into higher education:

• Carolina ADMIRES is a monthly program for 8th and 9th graders who envision a future in STEM-oriented fields.
• Tar Heel Preview Day is a program designed to introduce middle school students to the college experience and inspire them to envision themselves in a university setting.
