(W)omxn of Worth Spring Conference

The Womxn of Worth Spring Conference seeks to meet the needs of Womxn of Color in navigating professional spaces while promoting resiliency and establishing a personal sense of worth. The conference curriculum is designed to equip participants with the tools necessary to succeed in attaining professional development and academic success. The 2022 Womxn of Worth Spring Conference will be held on Friday, March 25th, 2022, from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union. This year’s conference will feature a keynote speaker and panel discussions around Making Room for More, Building a Life, and Career On Your Own Terms.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Tiffany Waddell Tate, founder & CEO, Career Maven Consulting. Tiffany helps individuals and companies reimagine the future of work through coaching, digital education, and learning & development for organizations and teams. As an in-demand coach, consultant, speaker and thought leader, she has been featured on Forbes, Well + Good, The Everymom, The Muse and a variety of podcasts. She is a master in coaching professionals to learn, lead, and grow at work.
Tiffany is a Double Deac, having earned her BA and MA from Wake Forest University, and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Diversity Educator, and MBTI Certified. Tiffany serves on the board of Reach Women’s Network, an organization that seeks to advance economic development and promote gender equality, and the advisory board of the Black Philanthropy Initiative of the Winston Salem Foundation, an initiative that promotes equity in education and economic development for the Black community.
