The Intersection of LGBTQ+ Asian-American Identities

March 21, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

LGBTQ+ and Asian American identities are not often discussed in our communities. We want to change that. For UNC’s Asia Week, the Asian Students Association, the Sexuality and Gender Alliance, the Carolina Asia Center, and members of the community are combining forces to put on an event discussing the intersections of these two identities.

The themes for this event are education, visibility, and dialogue through storytelling, and it will be open to anyone who is interested. We’ll have an interactive experience, small group discussions, and a meal of dumplings, egg rolls, and rice in the atrium of the Fedex Global Center on March 21st. We highly encourage people of all identities to come out, especially if these discussions are new to you and you are looking for a chance to learn.

We are so excited to share this with you! In order to reserve your meal, please fill out this form by March 19th.
