Racial Literacies – Black Out Loud: Representations and Resilience

The first Racial Literacies meeting of the semester will feature Black Out Loud: Representations and Resilience, a multimedia exhibit design to “highlight the beauty and heterogeniety of Blackness in the context of a historically white, public university in the American South.”

We will watch the documentary portion of the exhibit and have a conversation with its creators, Cortland Gilliam and Jerry Wilson.
