Racial Literacies – Black Out Loud: Representations and Resilience
January 27, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
The first Racial Literacies meeting of the semester will feature Black Out Loud: Representations and Resilience, a multimedia exhibit design to “highlight the beauty and heterogeniety of Blackness in the context of a historically white, public university in the American South.”
We will watch the documentary portion of the exhibit and have a conversation with its creators, Cortland Gilliam and Jerry Wilson.
