Panel Discussion: Black Communities and COVID-19 (webinar)

Black Communities: A Conference for Collaboration will present their first free webinar in their panel discussion series on Black Communities and COVID-19. Speakers for this discussion about health and health disparities in Black communities amidst COVID-19 are Diane Francis (health communications), Janeé Avent Harris (mental health) and Giselle Corbie-Smith (social medicine). They will explore equitable access to healthcare, mortality rates and the overall impact of COVID-19 on Black peoples’ mental and physical health.

This weekly and free series will explore various topics facing people and communities across the African diaspora, especially as we all continue to navigate the implications of COVID-19. Some of these topics include business and economic development, technology, food security and more.
