Odum Institute 95th Anniversary Gala with Special Guest Maurice “Mo” Green

The Odum Institute is celebrating its 95th anniversary with a gala in the Carolina Inn. The evening will kick off with a cocktail hour from 6 – 7 p.m. and move into dinner. Executive Director of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation Maurice “Mo” Green will be attending as the honored guest and dinner speaker.
Mr. Green will deliver a talk, titled ” Exploring All for NC: Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation’s Framework for its Grant-making, Learning and Commitment to Racial Equality,” during which he will discuss the Foundation’s 2016 strategic assessment and planning process that led to the All for NC framework. He will also discuss the Foundation’s new Inclusive Public Art Initiative.
Registration is now open, with all proceeds going toward continuing the Odum Institute’s Social Science Speaks series. The cost of a ticket covers parking, a three-course meal, and an open beer & wine bar.
This event has been organized as part of the 95th-anniversary celebration for the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. The mission of the Institute is to help grow and lead a world-class social science research infrastructure at UNC-Chapel Hill to ensure that researchers can conduct scientifically rigorous research that contributes to better lives for the citizens of North Carolina and the world.
