MSA LIVE: En Garde Against Islamophobia with Ibtihaj Muhammad

UNC Muslim Students Association (MSA) will host their second annual MSA Live Banquet. Joining them for the event is Olympian Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad, the first African-American Muslim American woman to win an Olympian medal and the first Muslim American woman to wear a hijab while competing for the United States.

Also speaking will be award-winning journalist Sean Maroney, who served as the voice of America’s correspondent in Pakistan and Afghanistan before returning to Raleigh to serve as a news anchor.

Banquet dinner will be provided, formal attire requested.

$15 college students (MUST have student ID to enter)/$20 non-students. Prices are $5 higher at the door. Tickets may be purchased at www.uncmsa.org.
