Documentary Screening: “Seeing Allred”

April 25, 2018 @ 7:00 pm

The UNC-CH Carolina Women’s Center is co-sponsoring a screening of the film Seeing Allred, a documentary directed and produced by UNC-CH alumna, Sophie Sartain, a former Morehead Scholar. Other sponsors for this event include: The Be Loud! Sophie Foundation and the Morehead-Cain Foundation.

Sophie Sartain will be on hand for Q&A after the film screening.

This documentary is a powerful portrayal of Gloria Allred a women’s rights attorney who takes on the biggest names in American culture, especially in cases related to sexual assault in the media. The film premiered at Sundance a month ago and the reviews have been great (see NYTVogueNPRVariety).

Free parking is available after 5 p.m. in the FedEx Global Education Center parking deck; entrance is located off of South Road before the main entrance to the building.
