Discussion and Q&A: “Adventures in Education, Politics, and Culture”

Join the Department of English & Comparative Literature in welcoming back Professor Trudier Harris in a webinar discussion on the adventures of Education, Politics, and Culture. The webinar discussion will be held by Bill Andrews through zoom, with a Q&A to follow.

Professor Trudier Harris has impressive professional work and experiences within her career. As she was a former UNC Chapel Hill professor, now at Alabama, she is one of the wisest historians of our time. Professor Harris has written ten books, many of them focusing on the history of African-American literature such as: Martin Luther King Jr., Heroism, and African American Literature; and Saints, Sinners, Saviors: Strong Black Women in African American Literature. Along with her great writings, she has lectured across the world in the United States, Poland, Germany, France, Canada, Jamaica, Spain, Italy, England, Northern Ireland, and South Africa.
