Diaspora Film Festival Community Screening at Hayti Heritage Center

As part of the Stone Center’s Diaspora Film Festival, this special community screening will take place at the Hayti Heritage Center. The full-length documentary Every Cook Can Govern: The Life, Impact & Works of C.L.R. James will be screened. The film is an historical tour-de-force exploring the life, writings and politics of the great Trinidad-born C.L.R. James, an uncompromising 20th century revolutionary and author of “The Black Jacobins,” the seminal work on Toussaint L’Ouverture and the Haitian Revolution.
