Creating a Space for Black Student Entrepreneurs

The UNC Eship Center will host Creating a Space for Black Student Entrepreneurs. This session will focus on discussing the various journeys of Black student entrepreneurs in our ecosystem. The panelists include Nehemiah Stewart, Caitlyn Kumi, Sherrod Crum and Chi Nwogu as the moderator.

Caitlyn Kumi shared, “Creating a space for black students means being able to connect with students that understand the complexities of being a black student entrepreneur and having a community that will support each other because of this unique shared understanding.”

Our Eship Center has publicly expressed our support of the Black Lives Matter movement and we are committed to diversity and an alliance with the Black community. We will continue to prioritize increasing representation and inclusion in the work that we do at UNC and in the greater community.
