Carolina Conversations: Weaving a Sense of Belonging in the Search Committee Process

January 17, 2019 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Have you served, been asked to serve or hope to serve on a search committee? Do you want to know the unwittingly cognitive errors that individuals serving on search committees sometimes make that can have an unintentional impact on this valuable recruitment committee as it does the work of vetting candidates for positions on behalf of the University? Then join us for the first Carolina Conversation of 2019, “Weaving a Sense of Belonging in the Search Committee Process” so you will be ready when the call of service comes to you.

This month’s Carolina Conversation is facilitated by Dr. G. Rumay Alexander, who serves as the University’s Associate Vice-Chancellor/Chief Diversity Officer, Professor in the School of Nursing and Chairperson of the Faculty Governance’s Diversity and Community Committee.

Refreshments served. ALL are welcome!

The Freedom Forum Conference Center is located at Carroll Hall, Room 305.
