Archived Event Series

The University Office for Diversity and Inclusion has offered numerous event interactive, inspired, educational series. While some are no longer being conducted, archived information and some videos are available.

Two such series are Carolina Conversations and Culture of Care.

  • Carolina Conversations was launched in 2015 to promote the campus community’s engagement in important programming, dialogue, and debate in recognition of the rising level of discourse about race, identity, political ideology, and other issues of inclusion across the country. Topics covered have included “First Amendment Protected Speech,” “Implicit Bias & Our Lives,” “Sexual Assault & Our Community,” “Inclusive Classrooms,” and more.
  • Culture of Care: Racial Trauma, Healing, and Community Resilience was introduced in May 2021 when the University Office for Diversity and Inclusion partnered with the Center for Faculty Excellence and Student Affairs for a three-event series that provided space for education, coping, healing and community resilience around issues related to identity-based and racial trauma.
