The following message is sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor

Dear Carolina Community,

The Campus Safety Commission (CSC) invites feedback from the students, faculty, staff and community members concerning issues of campus safety. The Commission was created to assess the campus climate, engage with the campus community and UNC Police, as well as to provide guidance to the University on necessary changes for campus safety. The Commission will be holding numerous listening sessions for individuals to share their opinions about campus safety. These sessions are designed to provide an opportunity for the campus community to provide feedback and/or experiences to the Commission regarding campus safety. Please feel free to join us at one of the three Listening Sessions to share your thoughts. Each of these sessions is open to University students, staff, faculty and community members.

  • Wednesday, September 25, 12-2 p.m. (Union 3206 A/B)
  • Tuesday, October 1, 6-8 p.m. (Wilson Library, Pleasants Family Room)
  • Monday, October 7, 6-8 p.m. (Stone Center, Hitchcock Room)

If you cannot attend one of three general body forums or want to expand on comments made during one of the general body forums, please use the following link to share your thoughts: Your responses will remain confidential. Your input will provide a broad overview of what campus safety means to our community and will be taken into account as we communicate with University leadership.
