Institutional Diversity and Inclusion Collaborative (IDIC)

The IDIC serves as an internal advisory body to DMA that connects important diversity and inclusion stakeholders from across the University. Read more

University Committee on Inclusive Excellence and Diversity (UCIED)

UCIED members are responsible for providing advisory guidance and recommendations for action. This group may include deans, chairs, faculty, staff and students who are uniquely positioned to influence, have an impact on, and/or implement strategies by virtue of their roles within the institution. Diversity Liaisons

A diversity liaison may be a point person between a college, school, or department and the DMA unit and collaborates on diversity, assessment, and outreach efforts. While this person is a point of contact for DMA communication and information purposes, their role may be more robustly defined within each college or department by the dean or chair. Liaisons understand the value of diversity and assist unit leadership and peers in incorporating diversity and inclusion into policy making, assessment, recruitment and retention efforts, and other best practices. Liaisons coordinate annual diversity planning and goal setting in their units, provide year-end reporting, strive for continuous improvement, and work collaboratively with DMA on programs and initiatives.
